TurfVue Privacy Policy

TurfVue ("we", "us") is a scheduling and job-management app for landscaping and
lawn-care businesses. TurfVue is a product of TDPBuilds, operated by Tyler
Pevahouse. This policy explains what
information the TurfVue mobile app and web dashboard collect, how we use it, and
the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up we collect your name,
email address, and the authentication method you use (email/password, Google,
or Apple). Your company name is stored when you create or join a company.
- Business data you enter. The app stores the content you and
your team create: customers (names, addresses, phone numbers, emails), jobs,
schedules, tasks, notes/comments, and invoices. This is your business data —
we store it so the app works for you.
- Photos. If you add before/after photos to a job, those
images are uploaded to our storage provider and associated with that job.
- Location of addresses. Customer addresses you type in may be
converted to map coordinates ("geocoded") so we can plan routes and show
weather for your work area. We do not track your device's real-time
location or run location tracking in the background.
- Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe.
We do not see or store your full card number — Stripe handles payment details.
We store your subscription status and plan.
- Cookies & local storage. The web dashboard uses cookies
and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to cache data for
performance. These are essential to how the app functions.
How we use your information
- To provide and operate the app (sign-in, syncing your schedule, generating
quotes/invoices, sending you the schedule reminders you enable).
- To process subscription payments and manage your plan.
- To secure the service and troubleshoot problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your
business data for advertising.
Service providers we share data with
We use trusted third parties to run the app. They process data only to provide
their service to us:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, file storage,
and hosting.
- Stripe — subscription payments and billing.
- Open-Meteo — weather forecasts (we send only approximate
coordinates, no personal data).
- Google Maps — when you tap to navigate, addresses are opened
in Google Maps.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your
account at any time from the app (More → Delete account), which removes your
personal login and profile. Business records created for a company may be
retained for the remaining members of that company. To request full deletion of a
company's data, contact us at tdpbuilds@gmail.com.
Security
We use industry-standard measures (including encryption in transit and access
controls provided by Firebase) to protect your data. No method of transmission or
storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
TurfVue is a business tool and is not intended for children under 13, and we do
not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete
your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at
tdpbuilds@gmail.com. If you are in the EU/UK or California, you may have additional
rights under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version
here and revise the "Last updated" date above.
